This site belongs to the MS in Biomedical Engineering, MedTech Innovation and Entrepreneurship program, offered jointly by the Joint Department of Biomedical Engineering at UNC-Chapel Hill and NC State University.
The public pages
Information here is provided for prospective students, employers and clinical partners. Course structures, deadlines and tuition are subject to change, and the universities' own catalogs are authoritative where this site and they disagree. Nothing here is an offer of admission or a guarantee of a particular outcome.
The program tool
Access to the internal tool is granted by the program to current students, alumni, faculty and staff. Accounts are not transferable. Use it for program business, keep what you see about other people to yourself, and tell the program office if you think someone has access they shouldn't.
Access ends when your relationship with the program does, except for alumni, whose access continues as long as the program keeps an alumni community.
What students and alumni contribute
When you update your own record or answer a survey, you are giving the program permission to use that information to run and report on the program — including aggregate figures such as where graduates work. We will ask before naming you or your company publicly.
Student ventures
Companies described on this site are independent of the universities. Featuring one is not an endorsement, and intellectual property arising from student work is governed by the universities' own policies, not by this page.
Availability
This is a program tool, not a commercial service. We aim to keep it working and will tell you about planned interruptions, but we do not offer a service level, and it is provided as is.
Questions
Contact the program office. For anything concerning your student record, the universities' registrars and their policies take precedence.
A note on this draft. Written to match how the program actually operates, but not reviewed by university counsel. A university-affiliated program publishing terms should have that review first.
